Machu Picchu Cancun or New Year's Eve 2008?
Hi, I'm 20 years traveling with the companion of the same age. I'm trying to plan a fun and exciting New Year travel December 30 to January 4. He wondered what trip would be better, Cancun (beaches, diving, swimming with dolphins, parasailing, ziplining, Chichen Itza) and Peru (Machu Pichu, old tracks). I am interested in hearing opinions on which sounds better. Thanks!
Do not Cancun. Its dirty, Sleezy, ...... traveled think crime is a problem and you will find in Cancun. In my opinion, Peru would be a much better choice. Best of Luck!
