Salkantay is a good choice for travelers who love adventure and plan to stay in Cusco for over 5 days, because you can do in 5 days and 4 nights in a joint program, which allows travelers thoroughly enjoy this experience. On the road you can see the incredible snow covered mountain of Salkantay. Nature is beautiful on this route. One of the characteristics Salkantay hike is that passengers walk through the high jungle of Cusco from the third day and walking to Aguas Calientes. The last day is the much awaited visit to Machupicchu.
