Some1special Hello! We are traveling to Peru very soon ..... ever before. We are using iExplore, and so far are very happy with the cost and care. There are some special sites online that have been offering deals to Peru, too. If we had children from the ages of you, take with us, but we are us, maybe some do not. I work for a major airline, and travel a lot. So, from my experience, I would bring my children of that age ..... but, not less. Machu Picchu is our first site of interest ..... we plan to hike it. However, we have, plan for a personal guide for the trip. There have never been to Peru, we feel a little more comfortable with someone who speaks English, to be our guide. The cost per flight on LAN is about $ 980 Total for two (not per person!). That varies according to its point of departure and return. Remember ..... you lack the internal air from Lima to Cusco! That person can RT about $ 340/per. The trip in general (not including international or internal air ...) may be around $ 2280.00 to $ 3000.00 right now if you locate the proper site for the reserve. Remember read the "inclusions and exclusions"! This is where you can lose money if they do not consider the costs. You can search online for various prices. We chose iExplore.com. They are very helpful so far ...... note: I have not used before, but they are very happy so far. Good luck, and hope you find the price you are expecting. Remember, the time is June to August, and costs can rise at the time. : O)
