Machu Picchu Peru History

What do you like to do when traveling to a foreign country? I like to observe, interact with and in general to know what we can about people.

After having traveled to Peru I had the opportunity to do just that. People are people, have you found this? People no matter where you go, no matter who they are, they all have some similarities with people everywhere. Here what the outgoing, friendly, Happy Go Lucky, the quietest of content, but perhaps not as boisterous Thus, those willing to contribute their happy little world and those who are looking for the person responsible for his misfortune.

In general, however, found the people I met in Peru to be beautiful bright spirits.

Mercedes Benz Mercedes know, "he said with a smile as big as I was sure recognize and remember his name at every meeting that she sold her trinkets on the street, and seemed to magically know where to find us whenever we traveled. "Ahh Ms. Barrrbarrra, remember me? "The Mercedes of course, never forget you!

Marciello, our special tour guide with a BA degree in archeology and an obvious love of their own culture which shares knowledge in life in Peru, both past and present that I could almost feel the Inca's wrong in the roads with their environment. Stories of the conquistadors and peasants, of the Inca temples and modern Shaman days gave us such a rich idea in a country that seems to recognize that the treasure generous history of their culture is much more precious than gold and silver mine.

Marie and her family are devoting his life to sharing his abundant love many of the thousands of orphaned and abandoned children in the Sacred Valley area. I was honored to stay at Casa de Milagros (House of Wonders) half of my time in the Peru and saw first hand what great work being done there. There are miracles happening every day as the (now 27) children are cared for learn from the daily school life all in an exchange of love /-the-home environment of care.

Wonderful person who made the trip much more carefree era Carlos. Carlos would call a taxi. But if you need to find your way home or from anywhere in the Sacred Valley, Jack is the man. Arranging for tickets train, tours, reservations for hostels ... Carlos whatever made it happen. The proud father of three children, Charles is a living example of going beyond.

I Beth met at the Casa de Milagros or "house" as we all learned to call it, a traveler sister with whom I had the pleasure of sharing travel services from Carlos to Ollantaytambo. Luckily for me, was 'home' in front of me and was able to give me guidance to all the complexities of the shower with hot water 30 seconds, where © nico locate hygienic paper (very important information) not to mention a friendly English speaker in a largely Spanish-speaking home.

Did you ever meet people who immediately feel "Ahh, what an angel"? Danika was just an angel on the part of the tour of my trip. There are people that only seem to say the right things at the right time. They move throughout the day, with a halo and wings, but hidden all around you are sure of their existence.
Our trip was wonderful group of young to young at heart, that melted and flattered, shared bus rides to long-term road sinuous, and once in a lifetime experience and will always be a great version of ourselves for having spent this time together.

I can not end without a final tribute. For the Spirit of Machu Picchu. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this living being a Wonder, I urge you, do not overlook. To be where tens of thousands people worked for this city to life is like nothing I have experienced before. I could close my eyes and hear the sounds of the beds and workers and bustle organized such infrastructure taking shape. The land was worked, the children were in school, the pilgrims brought offerings and were all there, laid out before me in this exuberant altar of the gods.

However, having the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people will be the true blessing to travel to Peru, as the people we meet every day, wherever we are is what makes life as an enriching experience.

"Certainly, travel is more than the vision places of interest, is a change that occurs, deep and permanent, in the ideas of life. "[Robert Frost]
