The fastest way To Machu Picchu?
I'm trying to do something completely crazy, see MP in the half-day course. If I take a flight from Lima Cuzco, the land at 7 am, there is no way to see MP (if only for a few minutes) and then back in Cuzco in time for a 3pm flight? So far everything I could find is the train that will take me up, but falls back in Cuzco until evening.
No way! You have to sleep in Aguas Calientes (town closer to the MP) or Cuzco, then go to MP and then you can return to Cuzco. However, the Cuzco airport off at dawn, as it is dangerous to fly at night. Why which run the whole experience? Go there, enjoy Cuzco and all its wonders (MP is not the only thing to do there!) And then calmly enjoy MP. Remember that Cusco is a city of height so that your body needs to adapt to otherwise end up in the hospital!
