Machu Picchu from Lima all inclusive?
I'm spending with my family christamss in Peru and I would go to Machu Picchu from 26 thedec ยบ 29, havent been able to find a tour that includes airtickets on the web .. pls help .. and my budget is only 400 USD
Typically, you fly to Cuzco from Lima. The normal price is about $ 100 each way. Aero Condor usually has a better price. LAN Peru may be a little more expensive. The flight is only slightly more an hour, it makes sense to pay more for better airline. Thus, around 200 USD return Airfare. The package from Cusco To Machu Picchu is normally about 300-400 dollars as the hotel offers, train service that takes (Backpacker or cathedral Vista), if you spend the night in Aguas Calientes or not. The package usually includes a guide In Machu Picchu. Doing this will push prices to about 500-600 USD fee inclusive. Otherwise, fly to Cusco, overnight in Cusco, about 40 USD you will get decent hotel. Al next day, take the first train to Aguas Calientes (I think around 7 or 8 hours), arriving around noon, then take the direct bus To Machu Picchu (only 30 minutes by bus). You will have about 2-3 hours at Machu Picchu, then catch the bus back to Aguas Caliente. The last bus back is about 5 pm, but the last train to Cusco is 4 (or 5 pm, not sure). You may be able to cope with $ 400, airfare including, but seriously that 500 is a better estimate. If spending the night in Aguas Calientes, then you can take the first bus To Machu Picchu and can spend hours there and still be able to catch the last train to Cusco paused. Anyway, this is the Christmas season, prices can rise, and not sure if there is a plane ticket to the left. My suggestion, go to accredited travel agency in Lima immediately and ask them to arrange the trip for you. Machu Picchu is impressive, it is definitely a must see if you can.
