Machu Pichu Visit
There are two basic options for the journey from Cusco to Machu Picchu. First, you have The Inca Trail, which usually takes 3 days of hard trekking through a beautiful and powerful landscape. Many of the old buildings of the Incas and archaeological sites can be seen throughout the trip, including the magnificent ruins Wia ± ay Wayna and QÂ'ente (hummingbird in Quechua), amid lush vegetation, near a waterfall where large colorful flowers attract hummingbirds and flowers all the time.
Alternatively at the exit of Cusco, the traveler may choose to take the train or Ollaytantambo Urubamba in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This offers the possibility of staying longer Machu Picchu, ie without having to spend the night there, because the first trains arrive before any other, at 7 am and leave the Lost City of the Incas after each other train is gone, at 6.10pm.
As for the qualities of car, you can choose between the friction Backpacker train, the train Vistadome higher quality, or the luxury Hiram Bingham train (which departs from the village of Poroy, about 20 minutes from Cusco).
