March, April, October and November are the best months to go. You need to be in good shape and hiking, preferably with experience in trekking at high altitude, but no technical skills needed for mountain trekking the Annapurna Circuit. Due to the long and gradual nature of the walk, the altitude is often a problem with a lot of time to acclimatize along the road. Weather conditions can vary greatly and have good winter clothing and a raincoat is essential. Of course, as with any holiday trekking, good quality and (most importantly) and broken pair of hiking boots is the most valuable thing to have with you!
