Any good travel and tour companies Macchu Picchu?
I will be in Cuzco, Peru for a few weeks this summer while volunteering in an orphanage. I have the weekend off, and I was thinking I might like to take a 2-4 days trek in Machu Picchu. Any reccomendations for companies that can satisfy this? (I'm young and traveling alone, so being with a group would be fine) Any other tips about trips to take / to see things would be much appreciated!
I do a lot of trekking in Peru and have contacts in the business, and people who make my walk with (independent) recommend to The Inca Trail: Aventours, Explorandes and, interestingly, Amazon Explorer. I am attaching the website. Today all Inca Trail tours must be made with a registered guide and all hikers (guide included) to purchse a ticket for every day that will be on the track so it will always be included in a group.
